Neil Erickson didn’t always know that he was going to be a musician, but he should have. Despite the neighborhood shows at four years old, the school talent shows in middle school, and international honor choir achievements in high school, it took him till he was 20 to decide he was going to pursue music as his career.

Neil Erickson was born on the westside of Santa Cruz, CA. In Santa Cruz he found his love for music. In fifth grade he picked up the guitar and never put it down. He grew his vocal ability in choir, and in his senior year he sang at Carnegie hall in the international honor choir. At 18 he moved to Santa Barbara to pursue a degree in journalism at Santa Barbara City College.

It took two major switches, heartbreak, and a worldwide pandemic to finally push Neil towards making music. Two years into a career at city college, with plans to transfer, he dropped everything. Now full steam ahead towards a music career, he won’t stop until his goals for music are achieved. He is now relentlessly refining his production, songwriting, vocal, and marketing skills. Working at Sugar Rush Studios in Goleta, CA has granted him a place to pursue music in a professional atmosphere.

He know plays all around town Santa Barbara. From SOhO to Blue Owl, he has a sound for almost every venue.

With a mindset dedicated to music, nothing can stop him now.
